Coppola Services was responsible for the installation of a new barge connection along the Newark Bay to receive barges to dispose wastewater from landfills which was being routed to the head of the existing treatment plant. The pipe from the connection to the influent was high density polyethylene and was fused together using a pipe fusion machine operated by Coppola staff.

The connection to the existing influent required extremely critical coordination, shutdowns and off hours/round the clock work to ensure no disruption to other entities or flows.
