Every project comes with different challenges, but projects with multiple locations can supply them in abundance. Each location presented a new challenge while working to furnish and install 28 new stainless steel Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) tidegates throughout Clifton, Newark and Patterson, NJ. Whether racing against the clock to avoid tidewater ingression, night work in the middle of a highway, or using divers to work in murky, briny water right on Newark Bay, but at Coppola Services we were able to successfully handle every challenge that came our way.

Additionally many locations required the removal of old cast iron, or even wooden tidegates, and most of the new tidegates had to be assembled inside a manhole.

Coppola Services successfully coordinated with NJ State, County and local roads departments, building departments and police departments for road occupancy/opening and traffic control.
